Strategic Investment Group picks Misys Sophis VALUE asset management service
Strategic Investment Group has signed up with application software and services company Misys to use their Sophis VALUE service for cross-asset trading and global risk management.
The asset manager will use Sophis VALUE for front-to-back transaction processing, holistic global risk management and investment accounting.
Sophis VALUE is a fully integrated cross-asset application for investment management that leverages straight-through-processing to handle the complete trading life cycle including portfolio management, middle- and back-office operations as well as risk management and compliance.
Strategic founding partner and CFO Carol Grefenstette said that Sophis VALUE not only addresses the various needs of our portfolio managers, operations staff and risk managers, the solution also has the flexibility to adapt to our specific business processes.
Sophis VALUE will deliver Strategic with a single, configurable asset management system that will oversee their diversified positions with external managers, as well as their direct investments.
Strategic noted that Sophis VALUE will manage the company's entire externally and internally managed investments across asset classes.
