North Shore Bank selects First Data for debit processing
Brookfield-based North Shore Bank has selected First Data, an electronic commerce and payment processing firm, to provide debit processing solution, extending its relationship with the STAR Network.
The bank has also signed an ATM driving agreement to utilise its customer relationship management offerings including transaction personalisation and performance management. The terms of the agreement remain undisclosed.
STAR is an electronic funds transfer (EFT) network, with more than 2 million retail and ATM locations, and a First Data company.
North Shore Bank vice president Jude Lengell said First Data services will support the bank's debit transaction processing, network services, fraud prevention solutions, and ATM technology to further strengthen its position as a true customer service channel.
North Shore Bank has been a First Data customer since 1999 and a STAR member since 2005.
